About
“Music is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents.” –Ludwig van Beethoven
PGAPA – has been in existence since 2005. It is the home of the CHAMPIONS for the 2006 WCOPA (World Championship of the Performing Arts) competition and other prestigious competitions in singing, dancing, modeling, and acting.
Mrs. Lilibeth M. Ona is the Founder, Director, and Vocal Teacher of PGAPA, with 25 yrs of teaching experience. She was trained at Bethel Bible College in the Phippines and at the University of the Philippines Conservatory of Music for her vocal and conducting techniques; vocally enhanced by Mr. Seth Riggs (Hollywood’s Vocal Teacher,) as well as Ms. Elizabeth Howard (Julliard’s finest Vocal Teacher.)
Music stabilizes mental, physical and emotional rhythms to attain a state of deep concentration and focus in which large amounts of content information can be processed and learned.
PGAPA – offers to the neighborhood: a high quality school with excellence as a main driving force in teaching every student how to sing, dance, act, model and play instruments. It is not just about what the students can do, but more importantly, who they are and the best they can become.
PGAPA – settles for nothing less for and from the students. Our goal is to be able to reach out to the community taking each student to the limits and keeping the youth of the community away from any gang related issues, drugs, suicide, rebellion, teenage pregnancy, etc., and making each training, and future performances an unforgettable experience both to them as performers as well as the audience.
PGAPA – showcases students who are up for the challenge and spares nothing to make every showcase as special as possible in venues that make the same statement about the school’s standard of excellence and class. Vocalists, actors, dancers, musicians, and models will perform either by themselves or in teams. There will be a year-round program to accommodate every artistic and musical need of the community.
